About SMT 667

Our Story

Striving Mind Trading 667 (SMT 667) operates in the Training and Skills Development sector.

• SMT 667 is a Services SETA Accredited Training provider in New Venture Creation Level 2 and Level 4. Through these programs, we provide Business Management skills, mainly for start-ups or new SMMEs in different economic sectors, to enhance optimal management of small businesses, that would otherwise struggle to function sustainably. Other Skills Development initiatives we offer include Mentorship, Coaching, and Legislative Guidance, to SMMEs and Cooperatives.

A new beginning

• SMT 667 offers placement services for Work Integrated Learning (WIL), Internships, Apprenticeships, Learnerships, Artisans, as well as Skills Programmes, in the diverse economic sectors in South Africa.

• Founded in 2010 by Giyani Harold Mabunda, who is currently a constituent Assessor for both Services SETA and ETDP SETA, a former Skills Development Facilitator for CHIETA and WR SETA, a former Strategic Projects Manager for NSF, a former Senior Strategic Projects Manager for CHIETA, a Business Administration Graduate, and a Previously Disadvantaged Individual, SMT 667 has 12 years’ wealth of experience and into contributing to fight head on, the unemployment challenge in the country.
